Former Hearts boss, Craig Levein has admitted he would rather see Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title, over Celtic because he ‘cant stand’ the talk of 10 in a row.

As reported by Glasgow Live, speaking on BBC Scotland’s, Off the Ball Levein admitted he favours Steven Gerrard’s side this season, as he hates the talk of it all and would rather it go ‘back to square one’, instead of Celtic keeping up this incredible run of consecutive league titles.

“They [Celtic] been over the course before, but you know, I just can’t stand this whole ten in a row thing. It really gets to me.

“I just don’t want there to be all the hassle that goes with it. It would be good if Rangers won the league this season so it’s back to square one.

“I just don’t want this whole ten in a row thing to become more than it is. It goes back to zero and we can start again.”

Craig Levein has always been a bit of a controversial character in Scottish Football, whether that be at Hearts, Dundee United or even in the Scotland job.

He isn’t one to sit on the fence and that is clear to see with the blunt response that was put forward to him today.

I’m sure there will be many different sides of Scottish Football who don’t want us to win yet another title and continue our unbelievable success. In a way, we should use these sorts of comments to push on even further and prove the doubters wrong once again.
