Italian media outlets have begun to speculate that Celtic could be looking to make the loan deal for Diego Laxalt from AC Milan a permanent one.
As reported by Italian Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, it has been suggested that the Scottish Champions have been impressed by the Uruguayans performances so far and could even look to open talks as early as next month, when both the sides meet in Italy for the Europa League clash.
It has also been suggested though, that defender Kristoffer Ajer would go in the other direction to make it happen, after sustained interest from Milan throughout the summer.

The left-back scored the goal that rescued a point for Neil Lennon’s side with an emphatic strike into the top of the net to open his account for Celtic.
Despite the side not being on the best of form in the last few games, Laxalt seems to impress week-in-week-out with his performances in every game.
Signing him up on a permanent deal would be very sensible business for the club to do, as he has shown exactly what he can do for us with his consistency at left-back.
The only problem with it may be what happens with Ajer as we really cannot afford to lose him this year so if the deal was to happen it would most likely come next summer
