SALZBURG Goalkeeper Alexander Walke has admitted it was a ‘little dream’ of his to play at Celtic Park one day.

The 35-year-old will take his place between the sticks tonight in Celtic’s crunch tie with Salzburg where the bhoys only need one point to progress on the night.

After a slow start in their group, Celtic have won their last two games on the bounce in the tournament to put themselves in prime position to go through to the next round.

It won’t be easy with Salzburg not dropping a single point so far in the group, but the Celtic players must be positive in order to get a result.

For Walke though, he’s looking to fulfil an ambition by hitting a wall of nose this evening as Celtic Park revs up to help the Bhoys get across the line.

“It is very special to play here,” told BT Sports.

“I can go as far as to say it is a little dream of mine to play here and I am looking forward to tomorrow a lot.”

Walke is a top goalkeeper and has played in all five of Salzburg’s games to this point and has only conceded two goals in the competition.

Let’s turn his dream into a nightmare tonight and make Celtic Park an intimidating place for the opposition.
