Celtic need a new man at the helm and whether it be Neil Lennon or anybody else, it’s clear they’re going to need all the help they can get in the transfer market.

This means we don’t just need a manager but people at the club who are capable of identifying new talent as Celtic get set for major change before the start of next season.

Benkovic, Boyata and Lustig could all be out the door by the end of May along with Burke, Weah and Toljan. There’s also no way Scott Brown can continue to play the number of games he’s currently playing and fringe players like Izzy and Dorus de Vries will go too.

It’s all hands on deck buts it’s important we have the right people at the helm who can help the squad move forward. With that in mind, Lee Congerton must go this summer in order for a new system and man to come in and oversee transfers to the club.

The Englishman was brought in by Brendan Rodgers who has now moved on and his track record is hardly inspiring. A new way forward is needed after three uninspired transfer windows in a row.

While it would be unfair to pin all the blame on Lee, it’s absolutely vital a new man comes in and looks at changing things for the better. It’s clearly not working at present.
