NIR BITTON has told the media it’s nonsense to suggest the team isn’t playing for the manager and that the team don’t deserved to get slaughtered for their performances and results as of late.
There should be no issue with a player or manager fighting their corner but it should be done within the realms of reality.
If Nir Bitton thinks the team should be avoiding criticism for this horror show of results that looks set to continue, then we’d suggest he’s on another planet.

We’ve conceded the most goals in both the Europa and Champions league this term so far.
We have two wins in eleven games.
We’re out of the league cup, we’re out of Europe and we’re trailing eleven points in the league with no signs suggesting our two games in hand can be won.
To suggest the team don’t deserve to be slaughtered is fantasy land stuff.
We’re obviously in a lot more trouble than any of us thought if these performances are the team playing for the manager.
