It’s not good.

Those were the words of our manager this evening when asked about Kyogo’s injury. The BT Sports interviewer was keen to get an update on Kyogo. During the post-match interview, the Celtic gaffer confirms it’s a hamstring problem and ‘it’s not good’.

There were no other strikers on the bench, but at the time many thought MikeyJohnston would get the nod given there was nothing at stake in this game from a qualification perspective.

The manager gambled and brought on his star striker and it’s backfired big time.

Ange looked a bit defeated as he revealed the injury doesn’t look good but signs off by saying ‘well cope’.

Giakoumakis is out injured, Ajeti went off injured and now Kyogo. We have no fit first team striker as it stands with a massive game on Sunday and a Cup final just ten days away.

  1. Why he was in is beyond me. Henderson is the sub at the 23 minute mark for Ajeti. In fact! Henderson should of started in a nothing game. Ridiculous.

  2. Another poor substitution decision by AP. Unbelievable decision in a game like this. The manager is culpable….end of. A victory….but at a huge cost. Now it’s up to Johnstone aaaasgh!! Question has to be asked and answered truthfully…why so many (hamstring) injuries? It can’t be all bad luck. Manager needs someone beside him to help him make better decisions! A spoiled night unfortunately!!!!!

  3. Shocking by ange – shouldn’t been on the bench then schoolboy error couldn’t be made – unless we needed the win money so bad – lawell has left yeah – your still making stupid mistakes ange grow a pair – hope you weren’t told to have him in squad…..

  4. It was a nothing game. Henderson should have started over Ajeti. Anyone. It doesn’t matter. He has a boner for his little Japanese lad and that’s fine. Just don’t play him in a nothing game where he can possibly get injured when we all know our striker position is thin as it is. Numpty.
