In one of this summers most drawn-out transfer saga’s, Kieran Tierney has eventually moved to the English Premier League club Arsenal.

Early reports say the 22-year-old has signed a 5-year contract in a deal worth a record-breaking 25 million pounds. This makes Tierney the SPFL’s most expensive ever export. That record will do nothing for Celtic fans who wanted Keiran to stay at Paradise.

How much of that transfer fee will be transferred into Neil Lennon’s budget remains to be seeing. Lennon has spent just over 12 million so far in this summers transfer window but he is still at least 3/4 players shy after a mass exodus of last seasons players from Celtic Park.

The Scottish transfer window will remain active until September, that gives Lennon just three weeks to patch up some of the holes in his squad. The left-back position now must be a priority.

Scott Sinclair also looks like he may be moving back to England. Tierney and Sinclair have been monumental in Celtic’s trophy haul over the past three seasons, Neil Lennon has a massive task on his hands now to bring in proving players.
