CHARLIE MULGREW has spoke about his undying love for Celtic with the run up to the Cup Final in many peoples thoughts this week.

Celtic take on The Rangers in a Hampden showdown this Sunday in a game Charlie Mulgrew obviously goes Celtic’s way.

The former Celtic player is still very much a Celtic fan and has followed the club’s fortunes from down south.

The utility man helped Celtic start this ten in a row run and he’s hoping the bhoys can get it over the line over the next two seasons.

“I always watch the games and look for the Celtic result, it’s something that never leaves you.” Mulgrew told Sunsport.

“It’s massive [for me], I’m a Celtic fan, it is something I always look to.

“I’m obviously hoping Celtic win the league but we’ll see what happens.”

Mulgrew left Celtic about the time Brendan Rodgers came into the club with the defender not coming to terms on a new deal with the club. There was some crossover with Mulgrew being allowed to train with Rodgers and the team while looking for a new club.

Celtic is in the big man’s blood, he regularly keeps in touch with the Celtic captain too.
