Okay, maybe it’s not a meltdown but there are some sincere and heartfelt farewells tonight on social media as Emilio Izaguirre is unveiled for his new club.

The left-back who had been at Celtic since 2010 finally left the club for just over £1million this week.

During his time at Celtic, the player racked up TEN honours and nearly scored a famous hat-trick if he could have just scored that penalty!

We wish him all the best with his new club, Al-Fayha

A nice story about a great servant to the club doesn’t need it. I really thought he’d stay as a back up to Tierney, or step up if we sold him, but you can’t begrudge Emilio a couple of lucrative years in the sun…
