Jack Hendry moved to Melbourne City from Celtic on loan for the rest of the season because he has personally failed to break into the Celtic team but apparently he’s having the last laugh in Australia.
The Celtic defender read and liked a comment from a Twitter follower who had a go at Hendry’s critics over the past 18 months, along with Lewis Morgan’s.
The Tweet stated they both are having the last laugh over the fans who said they weren’t good enough for Celtic?
Why? Because Jack has been sent on holiday for six months while the big bhoys try and win nine in a row?
Up until now we’ve been very respectful of Jack as a consummate professional but liking that tweet gives an insight into his mind frame and his disdain for some fans of a club he’s been taking a wage off for the past two seasons.
I love a good ‘get it up ye’, but perhaps wait until you have officially parted ways on a permanent basis before you’re seen to be having a go.
In the case of Jack Hendry, he was given a chance when injuries occurred and he never did anything that would suggest he could hold down a place in the side.
His head should be down and focusing on playing for his loan side, away from the stress of playing at a top club. Poor from Jack in this instance.
