According to a BBC Journalist, James Forrest has joined very elite company this evening with another brace for his country.
Scoring two goals in two consecutive games for Scotland has not been done since Denis Law played for the Tartan Army.
I’m told James Forrest is the first Scottish player since Denis Law to score two goals in consecutive internationals. He’s got 11 in 11 now for club and country. Fair ol’ run of form

Forrest has been in deadly form all season and even managed four goals in one game for Celtic earlier this season.
The midfielder has taken his game to new heights and his country are reaping the benefits.
Scotland looked down and out but the wee man has dragged them back from the brink for sure. Ironically, it’s a Celtic player who has come to the rescue of former Ibrox man McLeish who looked desperate before this double header.
11 goals in 11 games is something very special indeed and Celtic fans will now be hoping the winger carries this form back to club duty this weekend when the bhoys travel to Hamilton.
Make that 12 goals in 11 games – He just bagged a third as we finished typing!
His confidence must be at an all-time high!
Calm down, game not finished
