JAMES FORREST has been named PFA Player of the Year at tonight’s award ceremony.

The Celtic star beat out competition from fellow Celtic teammate Callum McGregor as well as Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.

It’s fantastic recognition of how good James has been this season. The midfielder has had his best season on record for the club since making his debut under Neil Lennon the first time he was the manager of Celtic.

Callum McGregor walked away with Celtic Player of the year and Fans player of the year at the Celtic’s awards last week with many feeling James Forrest was also worthy of the accolade.

Forrest along with Celtic have won two trophies this season with a Scottish Cup final at the end of the month where another treble could be on the cards.

James has been amazing over the past few seasons and to see him land the award is sweet.

  1. Deserved from Forrest. Morelos was considered, but they reckoned after recieving the award, he would boot it over the roof. And into geo-stationaty orbit around this planet.

Ryan kent, is a kent anyway. Hard cheese hun.
