James Forrest is usually a scapegoat when results don’t go well for Celtic. Last night he walked off at St. Mirren Park with a winning goal that moved Celtic up to second in the table and the champions have a chance to share top spot on Saturday if they win against Livingston.

James has a double domestic battle on his hands on Saturday too when for the first time in his career he will come up against his brother Alan providing both brothers play. If James can get one over on his brother this weekend that will throw the pressure on Rangers on Sunday who will travel to Easter Road to face an inform Hibs team.

As the winger nears one hundred goals for the club he has played for since he was a kid, last night’s headed winner has been a topic of conversation for everyone mainly down to its rarity. The matchwinner has admitted in his post-match interview that nobody should be expecting any more finishes with his head.
