CELTSAREHERE was invited along with other fan media outlets to participate in a press conference for our new Japanese trio.
This is the first time we’ve been chatting to three players in one press conference. We interviewed both Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide at the same time back in the summer after they both came in from Sheffield Wednesday but this was a new experience.
While Celtic was clearly working under time constraints and the stress that comes with translating a press conference as it happens – it was a little disappointing fan media outlets were only allowed one question to just one of the three players.
Nonetheless, fan media was in good form and asked some great and inquisitive questions about our new trio.

Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi won’t have stopped since touching down in Glasgow.
They’ve already been training and taking part in several media interviews.
Given their season in Japan just finished last month, there’s been little time to relax for the players before they’re thrown into the football in Scotland.
Let’s hope they hit the ground running.
