Celtic have agreed a loan deal with Crystal Palace for Jeffrey Schlupp, with the experienced 32-year-old set to undergo a medical in London tonight before completing his move to Parkhead.

With the January transfer window closing at 11pm tonight (February 3), the Hoops are making their final moves, and Schlupp’s arrival would provide valuable versatility as Brendan Rodgers strengthens his squad for the second half of the season.

Schlupp, who can operate as a left-back, winger, or central midfielder, has been on Rodgers’ radar for some time, having previously been linked with a move to Celtic last summer.
Rodgers himself was spotted at Glasgow Airport earlier today, reportedly flying to London Heathrow.
Celtic have been active in the final hours of the window, with reports that Rodgers is pushing for a move for Motherwell’s Lennon Miller. However, he is set to stay at Motherwell.
Meanwhile, Daniel Cummings is set to depart for West Ham.
With Schlupp edging closer, Celtic are adding Premier League experience to their ranks as they gear up for a crucial second half of the campaign.
It would also suggest that a deal for Tierney is off the cards this window after the two parties agreed on a pre-contract ahead of the summer.
