NEIL LENNON has delivered an update on Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong after the young defender went off injured during the win against Lille on Thursday night.
The player took a bad one to the Celtic Park advertisement boards but he also felt an issue in the immediate aftermath of the penalty he won for the team.
Ewan Henderson came on for the right-back and did well. We also see Ajer make use of the position and set up the winner striding up the pitch and using great footwork to play in Turnbull.
Speaking about his defender, Neil Lennon confirmed Frimpong should be okay for the Kilmarnock game on Sunday.

Many Celtic fans on social media would like to see Kristoffer Ajer in the role again and don’t want the Celtic manager to rush Jeremie back.
We need to look at ways we can create and be solid and a run at right back for Ajer could be something worth exploring.
We have tried Ajer in this position before, didn’t work , although to be fair he did well for good part of the game last night.
