20-year-old Dutch right back, Milan van Ewijk has been linked with a move to Celtic this summer even though there’s nobody at the club at this moment who should have the authority to bring players into the club.

RecordSport report the defender is on Celtic’s radar and he’s a player who the club have identified as a long term replacement for Jeremie Frimpong when Jonjoe Kenny heads back to Everton.

The young defender, who can also play centre-back, has made 25 appearances for Den Haag this term but could be tempted to move on in the summer.

The big thing for Celtic fans is getting the new manager in as soon as possible so they’re making the decisions playing staff. We’ve all saw what happens when managers aren’t part of the decisions to bring in players.

It’s time to box clever, we already know Liam Shaw will come in this summer, but we must be careful not to sign high profile replacements when we’re unsure who will be in charge at this point.
