Former Celtic defender, Jeremie Frimpong sent out a classy message after being part of a team that managed to eke out a result against Celtic in the end.

The Hoops were winning 2-1 with less than ten minutes to go when they collapsed. To be fair, both goals were taken very well.

On another night, Celtic could have maybe got something more from the game.

The progress from 6 weeks ago when we played the German club at Celtic Park is very noticeable. Celtic didn’t get anything tangible from the game, but they will have learned a lot and perhaps Ange too, on who he can trust coming off the bench.

Jeremie was relieved to see his side eventually get the win, and after the game, he wished Celtic all the best for the rest of the season.

The defender made Celtic a massive profit after just 18 months in January when Bayer came calling.

Frimpong wasn’t in Glasgow for a long time, but he was a good lad while he was there.
