Celtic have won the Scottish Cup and a resultant double after a dramatic afternoon in the Hampden sunshine. It was a stressful game for supporters, but Adam Idah’s late strike was enough to ensure the win for the Hoops.

It didn’t look likely at times, but the Bhoys came through and proved their serial winning mentality with a 1-0 triumph.

As well as ending the season on an almighty high, the victory sent retiring goalkeeper Joe Hart into the sunshine shooting arrows as he goes.

The veteran has given so much to Celtic over the past three years and departs the club having won seven out of a possible nine domestic trophies.

Today, he finished his prestigious career in the best way possible. Some were sceptical when he joined the club under Ange Postecoglou, but Hart has been a key leader in the dressing room over the past few years.

Although he may be getting on in age, he still put in a formidable performance. Dominant between the sticks, Hart claimed several crosses and was tremendous.

You could see just what it meant to the big Englishman after the game. Visibly emotional, Hart kissed the Celtic crest as he went out on a high.
