30th October 2022 ; Almondvale Stadium, Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland: Scottish Premier League football, Livingston versus Celtic: Joe Hart of Celtic salutes the fans after the win

The Celtic players have been enjoying some well earned time off after a manic first half of the season.

Straight after the SPFL shutdown, the bhoys were on a flight to Australia to play in the Sydney Cup. Now that’s out the way, Ange decided to give his players some time off before the hard work recommences.

Joe Hart didn’t hide the fact that he’d loved to have had one more outing with England at the World Cup, but he’s took to social media to say his holiday plans were a good consolation. While showing off how great a shape he’s in!

The Celtic goalkeeper has been a leader on and off the pitch for the bhoys since coming into the club in the summer of 2021. When we needed that solid goalkeeper at the back, the Englishman didn’t hesitate to come in and show what he could do.

It remains to be seen if Celtic will extend Joe’s stay beyond the summer of 2024. The keeper is getting up there in years and if we know Ange we’ll, he’ll already be looking for a succession plan, whenever he feels the time is right.

Until then, Joe is comfortable our number one.
