JOE HART was targeted by Hearts fans behind his goal at Tynecastle on Saturday. The Celtic goalkeeper picked up an object that had landed inside his goal mouth and handed it to referee Kevin Clancy during the Scottish Cup tie.

The Hearts ultras were situated right behind the goal. It will be interesting to see if anything is made of it or if Hearts take action.

Tynecastle has previous when it comes to missiles going onto the pitch. One fan famously attempted to attack Neil Lennon on the touchline while Celtic manager.

The Englishman made one big save during the game to keep Celtic’s lead intact but had nothing much else to do. Celtic were mostly dominant in a tie that looked tricky on paper.

Goals from Aaron Mooy, Kyogo and CCV put Celtic through to the semi-final of the Scottish Cup. The bhoys will be back at Hampden on April having already secured the League Cup title in February.

It’s back to league business for Joe Hart and the bhoys next weekend.

  1. Anything goes these days, our pyro/IRA worshippers are positively encouraged and indulged by the Celtic board so no reason to think that the Hearts neds will be reprimanded by their club either. The SPFL and police need to grow a pair and crack down before someone is seriously hurt… or worse
