Joe Hart’s return to Celtic Park during the thrilling Glasgow Derby offered a nostalgic moment for both him and the Celtic fans.

The retired goalkeeper, who ended his career with Celtic last season after securing three league titles, two Scottish Cups, and two League Cups, experienced a warm reception during the half-time windfall.

Taking to Instagram, Hart expressed his delight at being back, writing, “So good to be back and what a performance. Thanks for having me.”

Celtic’s commanding 3-0 victory over Rangers reflected the team’s dominance in the Scottish Premiership, where they’ve started the season perfectly with four wins from four matches, impressively without conceding a single goal. The goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Callum McGregor not only solidified Celtic’s position at the top of the table but also underlined their formidable form under Brendan Rodgers.

It was great having Hart back at Paradise – a place where he is always welcome. Maybe next time he will be in with the Green Brigade.
