JOE HART was pleased with his side, surviving a late surge from The Rangers are seeing out a 1-1 draw.

The Ibrox side needed to get all three points on Sunday afternoon, so as the game entered the latter stages, they started pushing higher and higher up the park. Throwing bodies forward, Celtic had to play much deeper so that they wouldn’t throw away their six-point lead.

Van Bronkhorst’s side had their fair share of chances, but after the post came to Celtic’s rescue and some magnificent saves from Joe Hart, Celtic survived.

Joe Hart believes his side has come through a lot in recent months and is pleased with the performance. He said; [Daily Record]

“We’ve come through a lot, we’re pleased with where we are. We’ve got a job to do and that continues.

“They were fighting for their lives out there. It was more important that they won today than we did.

“I was well aware that, with however many minutes to go, that I felt like we were going to get chances and they were probably going to get more.

“I think they hit the post after that.

“Tough game. Great game, really, really good game to be involved in.”

Joe Hart was brilliant yet again today. He’s arguably been Ange’s best signing, and his leadership and experience have come in handy this season.

At 34, he’s reached the peak of his performing career, but he’s shown no signs of slowing down this season.
