Former Celtic and Feyenoord striker John Guidetti got on the scoresheet for his side Alavés in the strangest of ways on Friday night with the Swedish striker creating a goal from absolutely nothing.
The player who managed 15 goals and 11 assists in 35 games for the Scottish Champions showed his cunning side and caught the Vallodid goalkeeper out big style.
A bad pass back seen the keeper scrambling to keep the ball in play and after he managed it he didn’t bet on John Guidetti running in at the corner of his eye and scoring a goal with a slide tackle.

An absolute howler.
Never seen John Guidetti do this at Manchester City, Celtic, Stoke City or Burnley #AlavésValladolid pic.twitter.com/yYx5E3idat

John has been used sparingly by Alavés this season and has made 18 appearances all in with most coming from the bench. This was a rare start for the former Manchester City man and he got his first goal of the season within four minutes.
The La Liga game ended 2-2 on the night.
