JOHN HARTSON has paid homage to Odsonne Edouard on social media as the Celtic striker gets set to leave the club.

Eddy has been outstanding for us in his time at the club. The Frenchman hasn’t had his best 15 months in a Celtic jersey but overall – he has been pivotal in Celtic’s quadruple treble run.

John Harton hits the nail on the head and echoes the sentiments of most well-meaning Celtic fans.

The Crystal Palace moves seems to be moving at a good pace now and the striker will join the Premier League relegation battlers before days end.

There was a time when Edouard would have been chased by a higher calibre of club. Since the pandemic and finances dropping all over Europe – coinciding with his own loss in form means Palace are the only viable club looking to offer him big money.

We wish Eddy all the best and hope he can make in-roads down south to win a better move down the line. Celtic will likely have a sell on clause attached to any deal

  1. Does not want to play for Celtic neither does Christie. The fact that they are signing for these two clubs says it all. They will need to turn it on big style to get out of these two lubs because that is why they are going. Already eyeing the next move. Chances are they will never play for a club as big as Celtic again. Good luck to them. The time is right and both players were hugely disruptive last season. Were nowhere when we needed them most.
