Celtic assistant manager, John Kennedy has praised, ‘outstanding’ Tom Rogic after recently returning to the side and having a positive impact on the side.

As reported by the Daily Record, speaking to the Celtic View, Kennedy spoke very highly of the Australian attacking midfielder, about what he brings to the side that can help the club with his performance.

“In this last period, he’s been outstanding. He gives the team something different with his creativity and the way he sees the game.

“It’s been great to have him fit, he’s feeling confident, feeling strong and long may that continue because he’s a very important player for us.”

Rogic returned on the scene after he came on as a second-half substitute and changed the game for Celtic, with the hoops upping the performance levels despite losing 3-1.

Ever since he has started to show why he should be a mainstay with brilliant performances against the likes of Motherwell and Aberdeen. Even in one of our worst games of the season, he created that one bit of magic to set up the goal, that gave us a chance of getting in the game.

It is crazy to think we almost sold the Australian for just £4 million in the summer. Thankfully, the deal fell through and we still get to see the magician at work.
