RecordSport are today running a story surrounding Ange Postecoglou’s imminent appointment but warned the manager will likely miss a portion of pre-season training in the beginning – just as Celts Are Here predicted on June 3rd.

The strict rules on quarantining mean Ange will need to self-isolate for ten days before finally getting to Lennoxtown. The issue is, he would need to be on a flight this morning if he wanted to take the team on their first day back.

The Bhoys are set to return to Lennoxtown on June 17th and it appears the club are going to rely on John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan again.

It leads me to believe these two are likely going to stay at the club. Why would they hang about to suit their employers if they knew they were for the chop?

If the writing was on the wall they’d already be looking for other jobs.

The same RecordSport report claims Postecoglou will ‘have a say’ in his backroom team but will be ‘allowed’ to run the rule over Kennedy and others when he takes the job.
