NEIL LENNON has a big decision to make for Sunday which will shape the rest of the season for Celtic.

After starting Mikael Lustig at Easter Road then Jeremy Toljan against Aberdeen the manager has been given food for thought.

One thing that resonates with me is John McGinn talking about Neil Lennon’s tactics against Celtic when he was the Hibs boss.

McGinn spoke earlier this season in front of the Sky Sports cameras that they would be told to target Mikael Lustig as the weak link of Celtic’s defence. The Aston Villa player also commented on Lennon saying to have a go at Ajer too.

He told Sky Sports: “I think normally, we would fancy Flo against Lustig.

“We all know Lustig’s a top player, but if Flo pins somebody, he’s got them.

“So we used to try and target Flo on his side, we used to try and get the ball to him and play off that.

“It used to work at times and I think that’s something they might try and exploit with Kris Ajer as well.”

In a perfect world, Jeremy Toljan would be doing the business for Celtic but the player looks to be struggling after a positive start.

We have a scenario where Lennon might prefer to play a guy he himself targeted as an opposition manager.

Some Celtic fans would advocate dropping the German and giving Lustig his position back in the side until the end of the season when Celtic can look at their options.
