Kenny arrived in the January window of 2021. The right-back was brought in on a six-month loan to replace the departing Jeremie Frimpong and Hatem Abd Elhamed.

Arriving from Everton, there was a lot of expectation placed on the player. He’d played in the Premier League and the Bundesliga, so it was only natural that fans expected the player to perform to a high standard.

Ultimately, he didn’t live up to these expectations. He would’ve been the poorest signing if Shane Duffy hadn’t arrived at Parkhead in the same season.

In fairness, everything that could go wrong at Celtic was going wrong, this wouldn’t have helped the Scouser.
