If you were old enough to see the Larsson era at Celtic Park you might just feel a little bit older after seeing this!

Sweden are in town to play Ukraine at Hampden in last 16 of the Euro’s.

Mikael Lustig is back in town and inside the stadium where he helped create so much history for the Hoops, but it’s his Swedish teammate that’s making us feel old.

SNS pics posted a picture of Jordan Larsson training on the Hampden pitch alongside a picture of the lad when he was much younger cheering on his dad Henrik inside the same stadium.

Jordan is carving out a great career for himself in the game. Currently playing for Spartak Moscow, the striker has gained a lot of admirers.

There’s always been Celtic fan debates about bringing Henrik’s bhoy to Celtic and that link will likely always be there, but the pressure that would bring on the player would be tremendous.

Henrik Larsson is a god in the east end of Glasgow.

We wish Jordan, Mikael and Sweden the best of luck on Tuesday evening against Ukraine.

  1. It’s a pressure the boy himself might not want to bring, I remember many years ago rumours of Kevin Gallagher coming to Celtic, then he himself said that he was afraid that he couldn’t live up to his Granda Patsy.

  2. Jordan can only enjoy his craft at whatever club he is playing for ((like Lubos son) Lots of kids watched Henke play. What about them?
A couple made it at Celtic Bhoys club since Lar53ons day. But most have lost their way and have moved on to new clubs that have give them the chance to shine in a full team.
Now that the chance to buy a halftime draw voucher, is almost upon us. Where is all the ‘ A percentage of funds goes to training the supporters dreams of players of the future’. Got to speculate to accumulicate more cups and honours. So let’s go to work, on tomorrows Hooped dreams.
