JOSE MOURINHO has weighed into the week long Celtic debate which is thankfully starting to simmer down.

The Portuguese manager isn’t the Celtic fans favourite person but even most of them will agree with what José has to say with regards to the managerial exit of Brendan Rodgers.

Speaking about the Irishman’s departure, the former Chelsea, Man Utd, Real Madrid, Inter and Porto manager believes the pull of the EPL is a massive thing but called out Rodgers in the timing of his decision.

Mourinho was talking after Brendan Rodgers lost his first game in charge of Leicester away to Watford; a result many Celtic fans have taken joy in seeing.

There wouldn’t be as many Celtic fans begrudging Rodgers his move to the EPL has he not left like a coward out the back door.

We’re in surreal times when we agree with José Mourinho and Andy Gray. Strange.

  1. Celtics idea of a manager. Wages: Don’t mind paying that as they’re got all the supporters money to spend again. New face’s: As long as they are on loan/lower league/reserves.
Season ticket cash: Again over 57.000 and counting.

    Equals: Long pocket’s short arms.

Ffs, get someone and keep them there for a change and spend money on/bring in some quality players. I’m sure they can finance that. I thank you for not listening to the fans.
