JOSIP JURANOVIC has been the subject of speculation, with suggestions that clubs down south have their eyes on the player.

Brendan Rodgers had even made the trip to Celtic Park to watch the player who has impressed since arriving at Celtic last summer.

However, Juranovic has declared he is happy at Celtic and is looking forward to returning to the club to start the title defence season.

As quoted by Football Scotland, the Celtic star revealed he has no intention to leave the club this summer but admitted the decision was out of his hands, saying;

“I enjoy Celtic. I had a break due to injury for six and a half weeks, but I’m fine now.

“I won the title with Celtic and I can’t feel better than I do.

“I started my career, I won the championship in Poland and now in Scotland and I can’t wait to get back to Glasgow again for the new season. It is great for me at Celtic.

“We’ll see, it’s not up to me! I’m happy at Celtic.”

The Celtic players are due back at the end of June, but whether those who have been representing their countries will get a few extra weeks off is yet to be determined.

Juranovic signed a fice year deal in Glasgow when he joined Celtic; he still has four years left on his current contract. It’s unlikely that Celtic will see many, if any, exits this summer.

  1. Don’t forget he only stayed one season in Poland before we signed him , could easily said then he was happy at Warsaw . I think we know another season is about all we can realistically expect from him at Paradise

  2. If we can get 2(+) more years from Ange and this team he’s building i reckon we’ll be where we want to be as a club.
