Liverpool progressed to the semi-finals of the Champions League on the night.
Celtic fans are eager for their Portuguese winger to sign a contract with Celtic after starring for the club many times this season, contributing to 21 goals so far.
However, it’s thought that Benfica will attempt to persuade the player to return to Estádio do Sport Lisboa in the summer. Ultimately, the decision on his future lies with the player who will have a few options come the end of June.
Jota will be taking in the match, cheering on his team that will have to pull off something spectacular to progress to the next round of the competition. While at Anfield, Jota may meet up with some of his friends or teammates.
Despite not being amongst the goals recently, Jota has had some superb passes and runs. During Saturday’s win, Postecoglou reminded the tricky winger to pass the ball rather than go for goal when he had possession.
