JOTA opened the Scoring at Parkhead on the Sunny Sunday afternoon.

The Hoops were held to a 1-1 draw as they look to seal the title. The score line doesn’t change things at the top, with the Hoops still six points to the good. They have the chance to all but secure the league next weekend when Hearts make the trip from the capital.

Speaking live on Sky Sports, the Portuguese winger said;

“It was frustrating to to keep the lead. To win the difficult game it’s sometimes not like that. We need to reunite the troops and get together and go again next week.”

He played well today, getting on the scoresheet again. He was a constant threat to the Ibrox side’s defence. After a few matches without his flair, he’s back performing how he was when he first arrived at Celtic.

His future is still unknown. Celtic will look to tie the winger down, triggering the clause in his loan contract. However, the player has the final say. He may opt to return to Benfica and fight for a place at his boyhood club.
