His start to life at Celtic was filled with doubt and his performances at the start didn’t really change supporters’ opinions. But, slowly but surely, he turned things around, as he got up to speed, and has turned out to be a great signing for the Hoops.

The Australian’s impressive performances have seen him break into the starting 11, displacing O’Riley, as well as earning the role of penalty taker. His success has been celebrated by the Celtic fans, who have created a catchy chant to the tune ofDaddy Cool in honour of Mooy.

The song has been a hit in the dressing room, with the entire squad joining in, much to the embarrassment of the 32yearold.

Jota revealed that it‘s always a funny moment for the team when the song comes on, and it‘s a great testament to the bond between the players.

He said: [The Herald]

Our team bond is definitely a key factor in our success. We are always trying to help everyone every single day.

And actually, we really like the song! His reaction is always really funny, so that was another good moment for us in that game.

I was just grateful that he put that cross in and that I could score.

Does he get embarrassed by his song? Yeah! Aaron is definitely a special guy but in a good way.

When the song comes on, its always funny for us because we all start to sing and he doesnt know what to do! Its always good fun.
