Major Portuguese publication has revealed a deal has been done for Jota to Celtic and have gone as far as saying the player has signed a four-year deal with the Hoops.
Since the final day of last season, Celtic fans have been desperate to hear news on the player and his future at the club. Jota had an outstanding loan spell with the Hoops, helping them to a league and cup double.
Portuguese outlet Record.pt has put the news out that the deal for Jota to Celtic will be announced ‘soon’.

Fans have grown tired of constant updates. There has been at least two or three a week since the end of the season claiming the deal is done. This report does go further with news it should be a four-year deal Jota comes into the club with.
The player wasn’t among the Benfica players as they returned to training this week which is a positive sign.
Until it’s confirmed, there are plenty of supporters out there who won’t be bothered – even by this update from Portugal. They want to see the club announce it. If Celtic do drop the news, the fans will be ecstatic.
