Jota’s High Praise of Ange Postecoglou

Celtic finally confirmed that Jota would be joining the Hoops permanently, with the winger penning a four-year deal with an option of an extra season that the club can trigger.

It’s a signing that many Celtic fans thought would be impossible for the club to pull off, but the player was keen to return to Glasgow and play Angeball!

CeltsAreHere was in attendance at a Fan Media press conference with Celtic’s newest arrival. The Portuguese winger revealed he’s always dreamed to play the style of football that Ange demands of his team, telling us;

“The philosophy of Ange is something I was looking for for a long time.

“I’ve grown up with these ideas of the game. And to find a coach, like Ange, in this stage of my career is really important for me because I love the way we play, the intensity, the creativity, everything!

“The way we play, it’s just tremendous It’s the right place to be to develop.

“I’m really happy to join. ”

Jota’s Celtic Commitment 

Jota has penned a long-term contract, surprising many fans. By agreeing to sign a five-year deal, it shows his commitment to Celtic, and to Ange Postecoglou. He could’ve easily held out for a move elsewhere, to a mid-table English side and got some extra wages, but he insisted on signing for the Hoops.

Jota will be an even better player for Celtic next season. It’ll be his first pre-season with the Bhoys, which will be extremely useful for bettering himself in Ange’s system.
