JOTA scored Celtic’s goal in their 1-1 Glasgow Derby draw. The winger was having a field day down the flanks, with the opposition’s fullbacks unable to keep the Portuguese star at bay.

The winger, who’s returned to top form over the past few games, insists that the league isn’t won yet, and his teammates must focus on the games ahead.

As quoted by the Daily Record, the Celtic star said;

 “The job’s not done. We keep on going. We rest and then next week we go again.

“It’s game after game. We know how important the next one is, so we keep on, we don’t give up, we get together the troops and we go into battle next week.”

His future is still unknown. Celtic will be keen to keep the player at Parkhead and activate the clause that allows the club to purchase the winger at the end of the season. However, it doesn’t look to be as simple as that. There are rumours that his parent club, who happen to be who he supported when he grew up, are considering offering the loan bhoy a new contract which will include more playing time.

His celebration on Sunday showed his passion for Celtic. Hopefully, he decided to stay in Glasgow and compete in the Champions League next season.
