Oh, who struggled to find consistent form at Celtic, has agreed to a long-term contract with Genk, with the transfer fee reportedly set at £4.2 million.

Graham Spiers, a well-respected journalist, commented on the move, expressing optimism about Oh’s future prospects.  “I predict this guy will come good – even very good. There is definitely a player in Oh. He just couldn’t get going at Celtic,” Spiers posted on X.

During his time with Celtic, Oh scored 12 goals in 47 appearances, most of which were as a substitute, totalling 1313 minutes of play. This translates to an average of one goal every 109 minutes, showing his potential effectiveness in front of goal. For reference, Kyogo averages a goal every 119 minutes. [Transfermarkt]

Oh’s physical presence and youth, at just 23 years old, suggests that he still has significant room for development. His move to Genk could provide the consistent game time needed to fulfil his potential and refine his abilities further.
