After yesterday’s news from the Bosnian camp that their scan on Jozo Simunovic revealed a tear in his hamstring. the club thinks the injury isn’t as bad as first feared.
Jozo wasn’t in the squad for Celtic’s recent draw against Hibernian and was sent home from international duty after the tear was brought to light.
Since getting back to full fitness and playing a big part in Celtic’s success the player’s injury worries have been carefully managed by Brendan Rodgers in order to keep Jozo as fresh as he can be.
Celtic are hopeful the player will be ready to go for the Bayern Munich away tie in a couple of weeks.
He is back in Scotland where the Celtic doctors will again be carefully managing his training and keeping a close eye on the defender’s progress.
Hopefully we have him back from the Allianz, we will certainly need all hands on deck if Celtic are going to pose a threat to the German side.
