JOZO SIMUNOVIC will be suspended for the first two games of the SPFL season because he was sent off in a friendly in Switzerland against St Gallen’s

The Croatian committed a reckless challenge during the game and was sent packing from the friendly. After the game, Neil Lennon was unsure what would happen with the suspension and how it would carry over. There was fears it could hinder his inclusion in qualifiers.

However, it has transpired today that the defender will be punished for the red by sitting out the first two games of the season according to superscoreboard.

This means Christopher Jullien will now be a stick-on to partner Kristoffer Ajer in defender or whomever is put in that place should the Norwegian be needed at right back.

It’s a shocker that a friendly game can influence you not playing in competitive fixtures. If it’s in the refs report that gets sent to to the Football Association you run, it’s in their hands.

We’re unsure at this point if Celtic can appea.

  1. We need all hands at the pumps this season the money for reaching Champions League groups is a must so we buy in players now that can take us and add each year a new face or two but first we must win our own Scottish League and some cups along the way…

Do this Celtic be one bring in the players and be BOSS
