JOZO SIMNUOVIC has rightly been exonerated if any wrongdoing during the game against Hibs after a clash with Oli Shaw.

The perplexing news the SFA were ‘looking into’ the flashpoint where Jozo clearly goes for the ball with no malice in taking out Shaw took many by surprise.

It’s ridiculous it was even on the table but the Croatian is free to play for Celtic against St Johnstone on Sunday which will be a welcome boost for Brendan Rodgers.

Meanwhile, thug goalkeeper McGregor has been offered a two-match ban for his two-footed challenge on Lewis Ferguson. The goalkeeper should have seen red and a penalty awarded to Aberdeen when the game was poised at 3-2. A massive decision in the context of the game an official deemed worthy of nothing.

McGregor’s ban has been a long time coming with the player getting away with some ridiculous decisions since returning to Scottish football, including kicking out at Kristoffer Ajer.
