JOSIP JURANOVIC has been speaking about what’s driving him as we get into the final run of games in the SPFL.

The right-back came in during last summer as part of Ange’s rebuild and after a less than ideal start with injuries, the Croatian has solidified himself as first choice right-back.

This is Celtic team have taken Scottish football by surprise. This was a rebuild year where nobody was really expecting or predicting Ange’s side to have a real credible go at the title.

Six games from the end of the season – Celtic are in control of their own destiny with a six point lead at the top of the table.

A League win would mean Champions League football next season, something that will excite the entire squad.

Josip made it clear his goals and ambition to play in Europe’s Elite competition next season and it’s what’s pushing him to keep this run going for Celtic.

Speaking to Nova TV, Juranovic said: “I want to play in the Champions League, to finally hear the anthem of the Champions League. I will do my best to stay first on the ladder and finally play where we all want to be.”

If Celtic do manage to seal the league and Champions League qualification, someone might want to tell Josip that it’s very hard to hear the Champions league anthem at Celtic Park due to the red hot atmosphere!
