Celtic had two major issues at the beginning of the season; we didn’t have a number one goalkeeper and we were struggling for leaders in the dressing room after Scott Brown’s exit.

The signing of Joe Hart from Spurs has corrected both of those problems and as Celtic registered their first win in the Europa League this season – fans wanted to make it clear how much they appreciated the goalkeeper.

Joe has taken on a vital role in the dressing room and has become a great presence for his teammates on and off the field.

The goalkeeper has made some top saves at vital times, but he also doesn’t shy away from addressing the support when games haven’t gone out way.

He had been a leader and Callum McGregor will be delighted to have the Englishman’s experience in the dressing room along side him.

Celtic won 2-0 against Ferencvaros, a stark contrast from the Champions League exit we suffered at the hands of the Hungarian’s last season.

It puts Celtic in a promising position in the group and hopefully we can secure European football after Christmas.
