The English Premier League window might be shut but the speculation surrounding former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is not cooling off. The player grabbed another two goals for Lyon at the weekend and his obvious talents has alerted many clubs in Europe.

Manchester Utd were said to be interested in the player but no deal can be done now with the window not open until January down south.

This leaves the rest of Europe open for business and without ludicrous bidding wars with EPL sides, there is sometimes better value.

We doubt there will be in this case if reports are true that Juventus have been looking to sign Moussa Dembele before the window closes.

SunSport are reporting there is interest in Italy for the player.

If the Italian were to have a bid accepted for the striker it would be a very similar situation to the one Moussa found himself in at Celtic.

The English window was closed and we all thought he was staying but Lyon’s interest late in the day seen Celtic sell their star striker. Could Lyon fans suffer the same heartache?

Moussa looks to be enjoying his football and another big move will come, whether it’s now or down the line. Celtic do have a financial interest in the Frenchman with a sell-on fee in place should the French club cash in on the frontman giving Celtic a transfer boost.
