Celtic youngster, Karamoko Dembele has been given international recognition and has been promoting the England u18s squad

It was announced earlier today that the 17-year, who has previously played for England at u16 and 17 levels, whilst also representing Scotland at one stage, will be yet again promoted to a higher age level, which includes talent from top-level English clubs.

At the start of this season, it looked as though Karamoko was set to feature a fair bit under Neil Lennon, being on the bench several times and even coming on in the first league game of the season against Hamilton Accies.

More recently though, it has gone a bit quiet on the talented young winger, who hasn’t been seen in a squad for a few weeks now. He was, however, spotted training with the squad in Latvia last week before Celtic’s Europa League tie with Riga FC.

Dembele’s contract is set to expire at the end of this season and to continue being picked for England shows how highly rated he is in a lot of different places. The club will be hoping they can get him tied down to a longer deal soon so that we do not lose one of our most prestigious talents.
