ARMSTRONG OKO-FLEX is the lesser talked about Celtic youth talent but anyone who has had the chance to watch the youngster play raves about him.

Having attended our fair share of reserve games last season, the former Arsenal trainee has been a standout for the bhoys. Before and after Karamoko Dembele made his debut for the developmental side.

Oko-Flex utilised as a frontman more often than not has a lot in his repertoire at 17. On Monday afternoon at Dens Park the player continued to impress by getting on the score sheet as well as an impressive assist as the bhoys ran out 4-2 winners against Dundee in the SPFL Reserve Cup.

Armstrong has made the Celtic first team bench twice but hasn’t made it onto the field on either occasion. One with Brendan Rodgers and the other with Neil Lennon.

It’s only a matter of time until this young talent gets to show the Celtic fans what he can do. He’s skilful, intelligent and has an eye for goal. He could very well be the best developmental signing made by Celtic under Rodgers and Congerton.

If people insist on Karamoko Dembele being the best player in our developmental ranks, I’d suggest he has competition for that particular moniker.
