CELTIC starlet Karamoko Dembele has reportedly turned down the offer to play with the Scotland setup having perviously played at under 16 and under 15 level.

The tricky winger who is currently making his way through the ranks at Celtic is eligible to play for both Scotland and England – representing both at youth level.

Karamoko has now made the choice not to continue playing for Scotland and focus on playing for England in his future international games. He will not make himself available for the SFA for selection and in-turn will try and make his way up the English ranks according to RecordSport.

While the player seems pretty determined to try and make the breakthrough with England – the decision is not definite with FIFA allowing him to switch allegiance until he earns a senior cap. There could be more talks down the line but for now Karamoko is going all in with the England international set up.

The Celtic player has just returned from a foot injury and is looking to earn a space in Neil Lennon’s squad going forward.

  1. I believe Odsonne is under contract until 2022. If Celtic have the slightest intention of achieving anything beyond Scotland he needs to be kept until a year before the contract end date. I am sick listening to all the amateur accountants on how much he should go for and why we shouldn’t take less than £25m ad nauseum. Tierney didn’t need to go this year but the suits wanted the money so off he went. Make up your mind Celtic so I can make up my mind wether or not my season ticket is worth having.
