CELTIC’S under 17s side have beaten The Rangers u17s tonight in the Glasgow Cup.

The two sides met behind closed doors at Lennoxtown this evening.

Having played four The Rangers have only earned four points and can only really hope for second place at best.

Two quick goals from the Celtic side put the hosts 2-0 up early with Scott Robertson and Paul Kennedy but The Rangers would pull those two goals back bringing the game to 2-2.

It was then the young Celts took the impetus and bagged a further two goals to put themselves out of sight – the 4th coming from 15-year-old Karamoko Dembele who continues to impress as he makes his way through the Celtic youth system.

The icing on the cake was a goal from young Barry Coffey on the 80th minute making it a whopping 5-2.
