KARAMOKO DEMBELE has not had the most ideal start to the season. The youngster was part of Celtic’s pre-season in Austria and Switzerland but since then he hasn’t been seen either in the first team or reserve side.

This is down to an injury the player picked up in training, leaving him unable to be selected.

He has missed a good few developmental games and where he’s at right now in his own development he’s probably just a bit shy of pushing for a first team place.

However, it looks like we’ll be seeing the young lad back in action shortly with Karamoko giving his own update on his current injury and he’s got his football boots back on!

Dembele played in the final 45 minutes of last season against Hearts and impressed. The youngster impressed so much he found himself in the bench for the Scottish Cup final but didn’t see any action on the day as Celtic landed a historic treble treble.

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility for Karamoko to make the breakthrough into the first team this season. It all starts with him getting back to full fitness and anything is possible from there.
